Sampo Rosenlew Ltd is an independent, medium-size industrial plant owned by Timo Prihti. The ambitious policy pursued by the company is to diversify the product range and improve competitiveness. Our research and development lays special emphasis on high technology and synergy. The Company's main product is the combine harvester, manufactured in two series: the Sampo Rosenlew 2000 series and high-capacity combines in the Sampo Rosenlew 3000 series.

Sampo Rosenlew Ltd was set up in 1991 through a management buy-out. Business operations were first started on the present premises in 1853 by Oy W. Rosenlew Ab, a family business. Business started by shipping timber, and then gradually diversified into agricultural machinery. Soon there was a wide range of products including the first self-propelled combine harvester, which was launched in 1957. It gradually became the most successful product in the product range.
Soon after the foundation of the present Sampo Rosenlew, combine harvesters in the SR2000 series were given a major facelift. The SR2000 series had been launched by the previous owner, and we had every confidence in the new series. The SR2010 plot combine also underwent a significant development process. Plot combines are especially designed for crop research purposes and manufactured mainly for export. | ![]() |

The company had started an active search for new ways to even out seasonal fluctuations. In 1993 the design and manufacture of industrial cleaning machines was launched. They soon developed into a new product group sold successfully worldwide.

Later in the 90's as a result of long-term research and development the new product group of forest harvesters was released. Today there are two harvester models: the agile and cost-effective SR1046X for first thinning and the more robust SR1066, also dimensioned for thinning but capable of heavier wood handling as well. | |

The home of the corporation is located in Pori, where combine harvesters, forest harvesters and industrial cleaners are manufactured. We also subcontract our equipment and know-how to other industrial corporations. Sampo Hydraulics was established in early 2003 in Jyväskylä, Finland, as a part of Sampo Rosenlew. The plant manufactures highly appreciated, high-quality hydraulic motors and rotators for global export. In early 2005 Sampo Components was started in Nakkila, Finland. The plant produces parts and structures for the metal industry.
