Sampo-Rosenlew appoints Deven Kataria as new CEO

Mr. Deven Kataria has been appointed new CEO of Sampo-Rosenlew Oy in Pori from April 16th, 2023. Mr. Kataria has an MBA degree from Vanderbuilt University in the USA and an engineering management degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.

Mr. Kataria moves to Pori from France where he has worked as head of global product development in a Mahindra subsidiary. Before his job in France Mr. Kataria has worked in various positions in the Mahindra organization both in India and in the USA. Before joining Mahindra in 2010 he worked in various management and director positions from 1995 to 2010 in the USA, China and Singapore for companies like Lear Corporation, DHL and United Technologies.

Sampo-Rosenlew’s current CEO Jussi Malmi has decided to look for new challenges, 2023 onwards and has promised to support smooth management during a transition period. The board of Sampo-Rosenlew thanks Jussi for his strong commitment and achievements during the past four years as the CEO of Sampo-Rosenlew.

Sampo-Rosenlew Oy is an engineering company developing and supplying combine harvesters and forest machinery. The company has been since June 2022 been owned 100 % by Mahindra Group, one of the largest Indian conglomerates with, among others, a leading position in farm equipment business.
